Status Report
International
The
annual International Trends Report 'Trends in Photovoltaic
Applications' is one of the key information products produced
under the PVPS Programme. The ISR presents summary information
on developments in PV power markets and applications in the
twenty member countries and is designed to assist those responsible
for developing the business strategies of PV companies and
to aid the development of medium term plans for electricity
utilities and other providers of energy services. It also
provides guidance to government officials responsible for
setting energy policy and preparing national energy plans.
The
ISR is released around the middle of September, providing
trends since 1992 up until the end of the previous year.

The International Survey Report is also available online from

A
limited number of copies of back issues of the ISR are available

National
The
information contained within the PVPS International Survey
Report is drawn from the National Survey Reports (NSR) of
each participating country. The NSRs are prepared in May and
provide details of the key national developments and achievements
during the preceding year.
This
National Survey Report of PV Power Applications in the UK
is produced following discussions with, and input from, organisations
and individuals involved in the development and implementation
of PV Technology in the UK. The latest information on installed
PV generation capacity, industry developments, price trends
and factors currently affecting deployment of photovoltaic
technology in the United Kingdom is described in the UK
National Survey Report.
